You may be new to the area, new to Westside, or new to this whole idea of 'church'. Wherever you are coming from, we know that trying something new can be a risk.
So let us take some of the 'risk' out of this for you!
Where Do I Go?
For Sunday mornings, stop in the Main Sanctuary (the big building with the large palm trees in front!).
Our service happens in there, and the nursery is in there as well.
What is the Music Like?
Describing music is a little like nailing jell-o to a tree! Our music is contemporary. We use drums, guitars and keys in our service. Sometimes we rock the house, sometimes we stop and reflect a little. Maybe you just need to check it out!
What about my kids?
Bring them with you! They can come into the service with you, or we have excellent kids programs tailored for every age. Kids programs are located in the South Building (Building B).
What do I wear?
Anything you want. We are not a formal kind of place. This is a casual group, ready just to hang out together.
Do I have to give money?
Nope. Not at all. That can be tough when visiting a new church. You have the choice of filling out an info card so that we can send you some material from the church. You can put that card in the offering plate if you want. But you are our guest. Just come and take it all in.
What about the sermon?
Yah. We got that! Pastor Dale usually speaks and covers a wide variety of topics. His heart is for taking the tough things of this life, and finding applications in the Bible that can encourage us. Check out the homepage for his current series or go to the archives to hear one of his recent sermons.
Westside is more than a building. More than a place with awesome kids programs. More than a place with good music, great conversation and coffee. Westside is people, coming together, figuring out this thing called 'life' and trying to live it well.
